Iman Refaat was born in 1980 in Cairo, Egypt. He is a writer, a director and a documentary filmmaker. He has written over fifteen short stories and three novels. His first novel, The Story of a Lost City, won the first prize at the "Arab League Literature Festival" in Cairo
